Vision & Mission

Adesh University has been established with a vision of making Malwa, the under-developed and backward belt of Punjab, a hub of the academic activity and a leading force in the field of Medical and Technical Education, complimented by research activities. University has the specific purpose of making provisions for instruction, teaching, education, research, training & related activities at all levels in disciplines of higher education including professional, medical/dental/ technical teaching, general education etc, particularly to the aspirants of the rural area.

The objectives of the University include:

  • To provide teaching, education, research and training in all areas of medical, technical and professional streams, as per the needs of the industry and society in general.
  • To promote academic aspirants of the rural areas.
  • To undertake industry oriented teaching, training and research, and to provide employable skills with a view to contribute to the development of the society with specific focus on special groups of the society like women, armed forces, etc.
  • To encourage leading industrial houses for setting up their corporate institutes/consultancies at the campus for the development of academia-industry integration.
  • To promote ethical and moral values in the students in order to help them for character building.
  • To identify the specific educational needs of the society & fulfill the same.
  • To promote over-all holistic development of the students.
